Tabitha Tejero

For almost twenty years, Tabitha Tejero has brought intellect, experience and drive to the risk management needs of her clients. As President of BCL, that drive is establishing trust and open communication with clients as their expert risk management advisor. A licensed agent with deep experience in both employee group benefits and commercial insurance, she consistently builds strong relationships by solving each client’s unique challenges in support of their continual growth and success.

A member of the Women’s Business Enterprise, Ms. Tejero monitors the benefits landscape for new developments, regulatory influences, and opportunities to enhance efficiencies for her clients, helping to develop creative strategies for maximizing insurance performance and controlling costs.

She began her insurance career at Griffin, Smalley & Wilkerson as a Benefits Account Manager in 2004, specializing in both small- and large-group accounts. She took this experience to AccessPoint HR where she managed all benefits operations, and later to VTC Insurance Group as a Lead Employee Benefits Account Executive.

Tabitha earned her degree in Criminal Justice. Her deep commitment to helping others is reflected in her 14-year role as a part-time volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician.
